Family support services by means of Child and Youth Counsellors supporting the family with alternative intervention strategies for a youth transitioning home, to teach and encourage alternative parenting techniques and basic intervention strategies, to trouble shoot with families when issues arise while child is on a home visit and assisting with successful visits avoiding potential family visit breakdowns
- Family involvement is welcomed and encouraged by Mary Homes to aid in the success of our youth.
- Family is asked to participate in aspects of youths lives while residing at Mary Homes, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually.
- Family attendance and participation is encouraged for plans of care, school meetings, doctors appts all important events in youths lives.
